Job Description |
Overview
The Website Marketing Intern will support the college’s efforts to enhance its online presence through strategic website updates and digital marketing initiatives. This role offers hands-on experience in content strategy, user experience (UX), and marketing-driven web design.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the marketing team to redesign and optimize key areas of the college website to better serve prospective students and families.
- Assist in creating new landing pages for digital and paid social media campaigns.
- Review existing web content and recommend updates for clarity, SEO, and conversion optimization.
- Work with internal stakeholders to ensure website messaging aligns with brand voice and enrollment goals.
- Use analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Siteimprove) to monitor site performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Assist with copywriting, imagery selection, and layout coordination in the CMS.
- Other duties as assigned.
Learning Outcomes
- Gain practical experience applying marketing strategy to web design and content.

Job Requirements |
Qualifications
- Current college student entering junior or senior year (preferably majoring in English, Data Analytics, or a related field).
- Experience with website content management systems (WordPress, Drupal, etc.).
- Strong writing and editing skills; attention to detail.
- Interest in digital marketing, UX, and higher education communication.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines. |
