Job Description |
Are you curious about how Bryn Mawr stays connected with its global alumnae/i network—and how those connections support current students like you? Join the Alumnae/i Relations and Development (ARD) team as a Student Worker and help strengthen the bridge between Bryn Mawr’s past, present, and future.
In this role, you’ll work alongside ARD staff to support events, communications, and fundraising efforts that celebrate and connect our community—including current students, alumnae/i of all generations, and parents/ families. You’ll also help increase awareness of ARD’s work on campus and serve as an advocate for deeper connections between students and the broader Bryn Mawr community, helping to foster a sense of belonging, tradition, and lifelong engagement.
This is a great opportunity for students interested in learning more about nonprofit organizations, event planning, communications, fundraising, and community engagement. You’ll gain insight into how Bryn Mawr builds and maintains meaningful relationships with alumnae/i, families, and students, and how those relationships support the College’s mission and long-term success.
Job Responsibilities:
- Be a cheerleader for Bryn Mawr—help spread the word about alumnae/i events, traditions, and giving campaigns, and get your fellow students excited about being part of a lifelong community.
- Help plan and promote campus traditions like Give a Hoot Week, the Family Giving Challenge, Passing the Lantern, and Senior Toast
- Help identify opportunities for ARD to participate in other student events and traditions on campus
- Support alumnae/i outreach efforts, including thank you messages, texting, and giving challenges
- Support the preparation for and staffing of alumnae/i and family events throughout the year
- Assist with the student worker hiring process for Reunion Weekend |
