Job Description |
Access Services offers the opportunity for students to become note-takers on a semester basis. Individuals who are selected to serve as note-takers will need to demonstrate consistent classroom attendance, diligent note taking ability, and achieve consistent academic performance. Students will take notes in the class for which they are assigned and share the notes with students who have a disability-related accommodation. |
Job Requirements |
Student Note-Taker must:
· Regularly attend the class(es) for which they are assigned to take notes; if a note-taker is absent, they must obtain class notes from a peer or the professor.
· Take legible, detailed, and accurate notes in each class session. (In some cases, Access Services may require that notes are typed.)
· Submit notes electronically to Access Services within 24 hours after each class session.
· Communicate quickly and effectively with Access Services any difficulties or concerns with the note taking process.
