Job Description The Co-Facilitator will work closely with the project lead and co-facilitator to deliver weekly workshops and support participants as they develop, edit, and finalize their digital stories. The role involves creative facilitation, light technical support, and collaboration with both graduate participants and an undergraduate student co-facilitator. This is an excellent opportunity for someone interested in social work, education, digital media, or creative practice. Workshop Schedule (Tuesdays, 1:30–2:30 PM): Co-facilitator should be available for each of the Tuesday workshops (1:30–2:30 PM), the final showcase event, and brief prep/debrief meetings scheduled flexibly around those times. Dates currently scheduled: 9/21/25, 10/7/25, 10/21/25, 10/28/25, 11/4/25, 11/11/25, 11/18/25, 11/25/25, 12/9/25 (Final Showcase) Key Responsibilities: • Co-facilitate Tuesday workshops with the project co-leads • Support story development through guided activities, peer feedback, and check-ins • Provide informal feedback on student scripts, media choices, and editing progress • Assist with multimedia basics (image/audio sourcing, editing tips, WeVideo support) • Coordinate with the undergraduate facilitator for session setup and tech logistics as needed • Help plan and co-lead the final community showcase event • Participate in brief planning and debrief meetings (flexible timing outside of Tuesdays)
Job Requirements Preferred Qualifications: • Current graduate student in social work, education, media studies, or related field • Interest in narrative practice, digital storytelling, social justice, or reflective pedagogy • Comfort leading small group activities and reflective discussion • Familiarity with (or interest in learning) digital storytelling platforms such as WeVideo, iMovie, Audacity, or GarageBand • Collaborative, creative, and comfortable working across disciplines Additional Information: • The project will provide training and mentorship • Co-facilitator will be compensated for workshops, prep/debrief time, and the final event • This is an in-person position based at Bryn Mawr College GSSWSR
