Job Description |
This is a week-long, paid program from Monday May 26-Friday May 30, 2025.
The purpose of the Careers in Library and Information Science (CiLIS) Program is to introduce students to the field of library and information science, and to promote equity, diversity, and inclusion by increasing opportunities for underrepresented groups in the profession. This is a week-long full-time workshop open to any student (including graduating seniors). You’ll participate in seminars, discussions, and field trips focused on social justice issues in librarianship and career options in the libraries and information field. Job Requirements |
A current student or recent graduate of Bryn Mawr College (any major)
An interest in learning about the field of library and information science
Active participation in discussions with peers
Good critical thinking skills and strong interpersonal and communication skills |
