What is Forté?
Forté is a nonprofit organization dedicated to launching those who identify as women into fulfilling, significant careers through access to business education, professional development, and a community of successful women. The purpose of the Forté Undergraduate Ambassador Program is to support More Women Leading on partner school campuses around the country, creating and leading a supportive community of successful student leaders, educating fellow student leaders of Forte's mission, events, and resources, and recruiting students to join Forté.
Role Description:
The purpose of the Forté Undergraduate Ambassador Program is to create a network of undergraduate student leaders who are equipped to champion the Forté mission which is to launch women into fulfilling, significant careers through access to business education, professional development, and a community of successful women. Ambassadors are an important fabric of the Forté network. Ambassadors are encouraged to connect with like-minded peers, further develop their leadership skills, and empower their friends and fellow students to utilize Forté resources to advance their careers. With an average time commitment of 3 hours per week, this role is a great way to build your network, work towards organizational goals, and develop in-demand leadership skills.

Responsibilities:
* Complete Forté Ambassador Orientation by Friday, August 1, 2025 * Attend Forté Ambassador Kick-Off Training on Monday, August 4, 2025 from 7-8pm EST (On Demand availability) * Be an asset for your classmates by championing the resources from Forté available to students on your campus by: Conducting marketing activities that will spread awareness about Forté at your school- this includes (but is not limited to) emails, social media posts, flyers, and more; Forté to clubs and mission-aligned student organizations on your campus and encouraging them to join the Forté Women in Business Affiliate Network; Promote and attend Forté Conferences and events (an extra $100 is allotted to Ambassador conference travel reimbursements!) * Complete your Career Ready Certificate with Forté - the key signal to Forté corporate partners that a student is ready for the workforce - and encourage your peers to do the same * Actively share community engagement ideas and feedback with Forté leadership * Work collaboratively with the co-ambassadors on your campus to facilitate a strategic plan for your campus.

Job Requirements |
Career & Civic Engagement Center is seeking a BMC student to serve as a Forté Campus Ambassador for the school year. This position involves 2-3 hours weekly, as well as biweekly meetings with the other campus ambassador and monthly team meetings with your supervisor in the Career & Civic Engagement Center. This is a paid position. We are looking for students who are rising sophomores, juniors, and seniors, who can devote the entire academic year to this position (fall & spring). Previous experience with the Forté Foundation is not required, but definitely a plus. If you are good with social media, have an interest in professional development opportunities, are excited about potential pathways in the business field, then this position is for you! Time management, ability to work independently as well as with a partner are essential. This position requires collaboration between 2 Campus Ambassadors to complete all tasks outlined by Forté while also meeting expectations from the Career & Civic Engagement Center team. We are really excited to be an official Forté Foundation partner school and all the exposure it provides BMC students to multiple facets of the business world and to build general professionalism skills! Forté is a non-profit consortium of talented women, influential companies, leading undergraduate and business schools, and pioneering donors. Together, these groups work together to launch women into fulfilling, significant careers through access to business education, professional development, and a community of successful women.
Qualifications:
* Undergraduate student (a rising sophomore, junior, or senior) in good academic standing at Bryn Mawr College for the 2025-2026 school year * Member of mission-aligned student organization(s) - a campus organization committed to advancing women in building leadership. The organization does not have to be a woman-in-business club, but it should align with Forté’s mission in some way (i.e. affinity groups, student leadership collectives, honor societies) * Proven leadership skills and abilities through student involvement activities, volunteer work, or part-time or full-time employment * You agree to release your information and work collaboratively with other students on your campus and the other students in the 2025-2026 Forté Undergraduate Ambassador Cohort * Preference will be given to those who actively participate within the Forté community. Examples include: Attended at least one Forté undergraduate leadership conference; Completion of the Career Ready Certificate activities; Active participation in events such as webinars |
