Job Description |
The Impact Center for Community, Equity, and Understanding implements programs and activities that address issues of diversity, power, and privilege with the goal of improving the campus climate and enhancing community life at Bryn Mawr. This is done with a lens that advances anti-racism, wellness, welcome, and belonging for all students, especially those who know the experience of marginalization firsthand.
The Social Media Communications Coordinator will be primarily responsible for content creation of The Impact Center’s Instagram account. This will include, but is not limited to conducting interviews, attending Impact Center affiliated events and providing photos of said events, and building connections and community via social media platforms. The Social Media Communications Coordinator will help promote themes of inclusion and equity across the Bryn Mawr College campus as well as spread awareness of The Impact Center and its affiliated programs and groups. |
Job Requirements |
Roles and Responsibilities are:
? Collaborate with other Impact Center student workers to showcase their programming efforts. This includes but is not limited to:
• CDAs
• AMO Co-heads
• WUBM Podcast Hosts
• ILLC Floor Leaders
• Impact Center Graduate Assistant(s)
? Focus on events and themes of inclusion and equity to promote community across the Bryn Mawr College campus.
? Create content related to the office’s mission, specifically wellness, welcome, anti-racism, and belonging. This includes but is not limited to educational posts, heritage month posts, and various infographics.
? Work with Impact Center Staff to schedule and post content to social media platforms.
