Job Description |
Hello!
I am looking for graduate student worker(s) with a passion for learning about accessibility and assistive technology to help me with a accessibility-related projects this school year.
I'm hiring students for up to 10 hours a week, however, student workers will only be used on an as needed basis for projects. Hours and location are dependent on the project at the time.
In particular, we are looking to fill a role for a position at the GSSWSR where a graduate student partners with professors in helping them make their class materials accessible. |
Job Requirements |
Worker(s) for this position must be able to be professional and practice discretion when handling topics of a sensitive nature. Worker(s) need to be self motivated, organized, and able to work independently to meet deadlines. Attention to detail, good people skills, a spirit of collaboration, and sensitivity and respect for people of all different abilities is required.
Experience or interest in video editing, event planning, document remediation, Adobe Acrobat Pro DC, tutoring, or public speaking is a plus. |
