Job Description |
Arts Program Ushers at Bryn Mawr College are student employees managed by the Arts Office. Ushers serve as hosts for the Arts at Bryn Mawr College for a variety of Arts Program productions, and receptions, including Theater, Dance, Bi-Co Music, and the Performing Arts Series.
Ushers are assigned by the Arts Office staff to all events. Ushers are responsible for the assistance and safety of guests. Ushers are liaisons with the staff or faculty for any emergency situation that may take place during a performance. Ushers must familiarize themselves with all arts venues, including all routes of egress, in order to assist in the safe passage and conduct of the audience while audience members are on premises. Ushers assist in ensuring the theater or space is clear of debris and trash before and after each performance. Ushers must be able to communicate clearly and enjoy helping others. |

Job Requirements |
-Self-motivated, excellent customer service skills, friendly, outgoing.
-Provide support to the Arts Program’s academic administrative assistant .
-Work independently on tasks assigned.
-Post marketing materials around campus and travel on the campus Blue Bus shuttle to post marketing materials on Haverford College’s campus. |
