Job Description The AMO Co-coordinators, in partnership with the Impact Center Director, will serve as peer advisers to 21 affinity student organizations. The AMO Coordinators facilitate club e-board workshops and AMO community development programs. The Coordinators will develop communications for and moderate the AMO listserv. In addition, the Coordinators will meet regularly with AMO members to provide opportunities for students to talk about their experiences. The Coordinators should draw on their own experiences and best practices for successful club leadership. The Coordinators will meet weekly with Impact Center staff and the Residential Life Coordinator in the ECC to communicate student interests and concerns and to implement strategies and programming that foster the success and longevity of affinity groups on campus. Either one or both Coordinators will focus on developing an online platform through which AMO resources materials can be shared and which can foster communication and collaboration between organizations. Additionally, the Coordinators will work to connect groups with one another through both programmatic and social avenues.
Job Requirements Prior experience with AMO and as an executive board member of affinity group preferred. Prior student leadership experience required. Experience with website maintenance preferred. Strong communication skills required.
