Job Description |
*This is a SUMMER position*
Fitness Monitors may be tasked with building coverage, facility oversight, support and supervision of Summer camps and programs. These responsibilities may or may not be related to general Fitness Center duties. All listed descriptions and duties apply, with an emphasis on cleaning and policy enforcement. The work schedule will vary based upon availability of shifts; opportunity to pick up additional shifts will occur as needed. Shift times coincide with Fitness Center Hours: our hours of operation for the Summer are TBD. We will aim to open Monday through Friday, and closed on the weekends. Opportunities may arise for additional hours, if requested by the PE department.

Job Requirements |

CPR/AED certification preferred.
Requirements for Fitness Center Monitor duties are as follows: must be responsible and be on time for all shifts. Must participate in daily cleaning and organization of Fitness Center facility. Must be able to solve problems and issues, enforce rules and regulations related to the Fitness Center. Must be comfortable interacting with members to welcome and greet them to the facility. Must be willing to enforce policies and procedures as related to all outside camps, programs, and groups who may have access to our building/facility. Attention to detail and being well-organized is a plus for this position. Student Monitors report to the Fitness Center Director. |
