Job Description |
Library Student Assistants play a key role in carrying out routine library procedures and tasks in Canaday, Carpenter, and/or Collier libraries. This is a dynamic role that requires frequent movement and the ability to quickly switch between tasks. Shifts may be scheduled across all three libraries on campus. As a customer service-focused position, assisting library patrons is the highest priority. Students must demonstrate a high level of responsibility, reliability, and a strong willingness to learn while helping others. The role requires excellent interpersonal and communication skills to serve as an effective liaison between the library and its patrons. Students must be independent and manage their responsibilities unsupervised, particularly during evening or weekend shifts when librarians are not present. Punctuality, dependability, and discretion in handling confidential information are essential.
Application review begins April 7th. |
