Job Description |
Through involvement with this project, students will increase the representation of underrepresented communities in the College Archives. Student researchers will help build a collection of oral histories relating to Perry House and its affiliated communities by researching the lives and experiences of those involved with Perry House over the years, and by conducting oral history interviews with former Perry House community members. This research will include connecting with and interviewing alums, creating questions, recording interviews, transcribing interviews, editing interviews and archiving oral histories. If time allows, students will also learn to evaluate and document qualitative data. Training will be provided.
