Job Description |
THE BOOKSHOP IS LOOKING FOR IMMEDIATE HELP ON MONDAYS, NOON TO 2:30 PM; TUESDAYS, 9:30 AM TO NOON; AND THURSDAYS, 9:30 AM TO NOON AND 2:30 PM TO 4:45 PM. PLEASE DO NOT APPLY IF YOU CAN'T WORK AT LEAST ONE OF THESE SHIFTS.

Bookshop Associates assist customers of the Bryn Mawr College Bookshop, helping patrons find what they need and completing transactions at the registers. Associates also assist in receiving shipments, and restocking the sales floor. They take responsibility for maintaining a clean and inviting environment. In addition, Student Associates each take on a specific role: Content Creator, Book Associate, Retail Associate or Admin. (Details about roles are available on the bookshop website.) |

Job Requirements |
Cheerful, reliable, energetic and outgoing; committed to great customer service. Detail-oriented and thorough. Retail and cash-handling experience is a plus. Able to maintain poise at all times. Able to lift up to 35 pounds. Must consistently commit to at least two regular 2/2.5 hour shifts per week. |
