Job Description Student will serve as one of two administrative assistants for the Director of Africana Studies who is a member of the English Department faculty. This requires extensive work on electronic public relations, communication with African and African American Studies Programs at area colleges and universities, and clerical contact with the 29 faculty and staff who comprise Africana Studies. Student will also help with April 2019 colloquium correspondence and help create and maintain a vibrant Africana 2018-2019.
Job Requirements Innovative solutions for campus and regional outreach about Africana programming in relation to April conference. Electronic fluency with survey monkey, list serves, invitations, and social media. Ability to manage effectively extensive correspondence for April conference and other Africana programming. Excellent time management skills.
